Beginning quilting
Thursdays July 8th, 15th, and 22nd
If you don't have the basic quilting
materials you may want to wait until the first class to purchase
some of the items as we will be discussing th many different
models and makers of rotary cutters, mats rulers, scissors, etc.
Bring a note pad for taking notes. Skill level: Beginner.

Sew Charming Purse
Saturday July 17th 10 -
3pm
This purse pattern is a great bargain,
because it offers two size options. We will be making the smaller
one. The pattern utilizes charm squares but can be done
easily by cutting your own. This purse has a lovely ruffled
trim on the top and the pocket. We'll be demonstrating the
ruffler attachment for the sewing machine and showing you some
other uses for it as well. Skill level: some sewing experience
helpful. Teacher: Christine. Supplies: Basic

Beginning Hand Quilting
Tuesday July 20th 10

June will share tips and techniques to
help you get started, or if you're more accomplished come and join
in the fun. Skill Level: Beginner. Teacher: June.
Supplies: quilting needle, thread and quilting hoop. Fee:
$15.00 includes fabric kit.
Jiffy Jelly Quilt
Saturday July 24th 10 -
3pm
The Jiffy jelly lap quilt top is made
from one Moda jelly roll. Cutting is simple and so is the
piecing. You will have this top well under way before you
leave class. If you like, we have a scrap jelly roll option
that will work up to be bright and cheery. You might also like to
consider the Scallop/Borders class being offered this summer if
you would like to add borders to increase the size of this quilt.

Just Can't Cut It
Tuesday July 27th 10 - 3pm
A fast, fun, quilt which can be made
in a day. Great for large prints. Makes a lap or bunk size
throw.
Skill level: confident beginner.

Mini Pineapple Wall Quilt
Saturday July 31st 10 -4
Miniature quilts are not difficult if
you follow the same guidelines that you use for regular size
quilts. It is all about accuracy in cutting, sewing and
squaring up as you progress. This is not a paper pieced
project but you will get accurate squares that fit together
beautifully and form a complex design when finished. Skill level:
some experience helpful. Teacher: Christine. Supplies:
Basic sewing and quilting supplies. Further supply list when
registering. Fee: $25.00 plus supplies.
Needleturn Hand Applique
Thursday Aug. 5th 5 - 8pm
In this class you will learn the
basics of needle turn hand applique. Our project will be a
small guest towel. Skill level:beginner. Teacher: Christine.

Snap Bags
Tuesday Aug. 10th
10am - 2pm
This fun new snappy bag has taken over
the quilting/ sewing world. It closes with pieces of metal
tape measure! Come and join the craze. Skill level:
Any. Teacher: Judy. Supplies: Machine and basic
sewing supplies, rotary cutter and mat. Further supply list

Tee Shirt Quilt
Tuesday Aug. 17th 10am -
5pm
Bring those special sports
shirts your child or grandchild has been saving. June
will help you put them together for a memory quilt they will
treasure. Skill level: Beginner and more. Teacher:

Humming Bird Wall Hanging
Thursdays Aug. 18th & 25th
10 am - 3pm
Add a lovely humming bird to your home
in this wall hanging with Judy. Two classes will complete

Medallion Star Quilt
Thursday Aug. 19th
5-9pm
This small wall hanging sews up like a
charm and is as cute as cute can be. Use it as a table
topper too. We have the kits precut or you can choose your
own. Skill level: Any. Teacher: Christine.

Twist and Turn
Saturday Aug. 21st
10am - 2pm
This quick quilt looks good in two
colors or scrappy. It looks great in kid prints, floral,
batiks or a line of coordinating fabric. The block starts
with a partial row and then you add to each side. Our choice
of colors was black and white. Skill level: Confident
beginner. Teacher: Donna M. Supplies: supply list when
registering. Fee: $20.00 plus pattern and supplies.
Pineapple Plus
Tuesday Aug. 24th 10am- 3pm
Come learn this fun technique for
making pineapple blocks, as seen at the International Quilt
Market. You can choose to use two fabrics or be more
adventurous with four. Skill level: experienced quilter. Teacher:
Donna K. Supplies: Basic sewing and quilting supplies.

Scallops/ Borders
Saturday Sept. 11th
1-3pm
You won't need your sewing machine for
this class. We'll be using paper, pencil and a calculator to
design borders for any quilt top. You will learn how to
adjust borders to fit the tops that you make and will be surprised
at how simple this all is. Teacher: Any. Teacher:

Beginning Needle Felting
Tuesday Sept. 21st
10am - 2pm
This class will be and introduction to
dry needle felting so you may not have any supplies. I will
have samples for you to use and try. Skill level: beginner.

Professional Tote
Wednesday Sept. 22nd & 29th
10am - 3pm
This is a great tote for traveling.
Lots of pockets for tickets, books, water and just all that
necessary "stuff" we need to have. Cutting is done ahead
of taking class. Skill level: Intermediate. Teacher:
Donna/Sue. Supplies: As noted on pattern. Basic sewing and
quilting tools. Fee: $20.00 each session plus pattern and
supplies.
Day and Night
Monday Sept. 27th
10am - 3pm
This Eleanor Burns book of Day and
Night has been a popular class. Lots of fun with beautiful
results. Teacher: Donna. Supplies: basic
sewing and quilting tools, book and fabric requirements per book.
